NCDC Strengthens Quality Management Journey Through ISO 9001:2015 Training

The National Curriculum Development Centre (NCDC) has taken a significant step towards enhancing institutional excellence by holding a two-day induction training on implementing the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS). The training marks the beginning of a comprehensive process to align the Centre’s operations with internationally recognised quality management standards.

The training, held on 22nd and 23rd July 2026 at the NCDC Conference Room, reflects the Centre’s commitment to continuous improvement, operational excellence, and the delivery of high-quality curriculum development services that meet both national priorities and international standards.

The initiative is part of NCDC’s ongoing efforts to obtain ISO 9001:2015 certification, a globally recognised standard that promotes efficient, customer-focused and process-driven organisational management. Through the adoption of the Quality Management System, the Centre aims to streamline its activities, strengthen service delivery, and improve overall institutional performance.

Staff were introduced to the preliminary stages of the certification process, ahead of staff training and the development of the documentation required for successful implementation. NCDC Heads of Department and Units, along with select staff, participated in the induction training, recognising their critical leadership role in driving the implementation of quality management practices across the institution.
