The National Curriculum Development Centre (NCDC), in collaboration with the Reading Association of Uganda (RAU) and Room to Read, has engaged language scientists and native language speakers to develop letter teaching orders and comprehensive word lists for 21 Ugandan languages. The resources will provide an important foundation for developing literacy materials and supporting effective language instruction, particularly during the early stages of learning.
