On 16th October 2023 , National Curriculum Development Centre (NCDC) hosted the monthly Senior Management meeting of the Ministry of Education and Sports.
Officials from all the Directorates of the Ministry held their day-long meeting inside the NCDC Conference room in Kyambogo.
The Director NCDC, Dr Grace K. Baguma, attended the meeting, along with her deputies; in charge of the Directorate of Curriculum Review and Instructional Materials Development, Dr Bernadette K. Nambi, and Dr Richard Irumba in charge of the Directorate of Research, Consultancy and Library Services,.
Later in the afternoon, the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Education and Sports, Ms Ketty Lamaro, held a meeting with NCDC management.
Dr Grace Baguma briefed the Permanent Secretary on the Centre’s mandate and ongoing curriculum development work. She thanked the Ministry for the continued support to the work carried out by the Centre.
In her remarks, Ms Lamaro lauded NCDC for championing competency-based learning and promised that the Ministry would continue to support the Centre to fulfill its statutory mandate.
