NCDC hosts the Parliamentary Forum on Quality Education

On 17th October, 2023, National Curriculum Development Centre (NCDC) hosted the Parliamentary Forum on Quality Education.

The members of the Forum interacted with NCDC management on the Centre’s mandate and curriculum development work

The purpose of the meeting was for the legislators to interface with NCDC to get information on what the Centre has done to support education at   specifically the Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) level, Secondary level and the progress on the evaluation of other curricular offered in Uganda. .

Dr Baguma and the relevant Manager briefed the Members of Parliament on the current status of the implementation and review of curricula.

The Chairperson of the Parliamentary forum, Ms Margaret Rwabushaija, thanked the Director NCDC, Dr Grace Baguma and management, for championing the delivery of quality education through curricula development.

The lawmakers promised to support the Centre to fulfill her mandate and ensure that the education system produces competent and skilled learners.
