The Production Unit of the National Curriculum Development Centre (NCDC) was established majorly to cater for printing of materials produced by the Centre. It is at the heart of ensuring that quality curricula are produced by the Centre. It performs its duties in liaison with all the departments and units at the Centre.
The unit has the chief responsibilities of; turning manuscripts into finished publications through a series of production processes; Setting standards and targets for each publication whilst closely monitoring quality at every stage of production; and ensuring quality control and supervision made before final printing.
The main activities for the Unit this financial year included; Developing NCDC Publishing Guide; Training Curriculum Specialists on NCDC publishing guidelines; Editing, design and layout of all Curriculum Materials
The recently Concluded activities include; development, printing and training specialist on the NCDC Publishing Guide while the running Activities are; editing, design and layout of all curriculum materials continues.
