With a wide range of experience in curriculum design and development, National Curriculum Development Centre (NCDC) has always been proud to share her lessons with the world.
In this spirit, the Centre was recently pleased to host a delegation from Malawi Institute of Education, visiting Uganda on a benchmarking expedition. Established as a Government parastatal in 1979, the Malawi Institute of Education is the nation’s curriculum development centre.
The visiting delegation toured the NCDC head offices in Kyambogo and held a meeting with the Centre’s Management team, led by the Director, Dr Grace K. Baguma.
The delegation’s visit to Uganda comes at a time when Malawi is preparing to review curricula for pre-primary, primary, secondary and primary teaching education.
The NCDC team shared insights into the recent and ongoing curriculum reviews spearheaded by the Centre, with a focus on fostering competency-based learning.
