Vincent Funi Dusabe
Dusabe Funi Vincent is a Curriculum Specialist, holding a Post Graduate Diploma in Curriculum Design and Development from Open University of Tanzania, a Master of Arts in Educational Management and a Bachelor of Education from Makerere University and a Diploma in Education from the Institute of Teacher Education Kyambogo.
He has experience of 20 years as head of department, 14 of which were in schools and Primary Teachers’ College, and six (6) at National Curriculum Development Centre. Before joining NCDC, Dusabe worked as a Teacher Trainer (Tutor) for four years as a classroom teacher for 14 years.
His key skills are in Curriculum Designing Development and implementation, Eearly Learning Instructional Strategies, Project Planning and Management, Teacher Professional Development, Education Systems Strengthening, Management and Leadership Training and Community Based Rehabilitation.
Dusabe has good Managerial skills demonstrated in challenging, national tasks of materials development, dissemination, orientation, donor engagement among others. He has excellent skills in training, research, Financial Management and Monitoring gained over the years as a member of management at NCDC, District, university, Colleges and schools where he worked.
Dusabe was the first Chairperson for Kisoro District Youth Council, District Local Councilor, District Deputy Speaker and Chairman District Finance, Planning and Human Resource Management Committee. He is also a permanent Uganda Red Cross Volunteer.
